Supervisor at Suburban Transportation

As a Supervisor at Suburban Transportation, you will be responsible for improving the customer experience by efficiently scheduling transport services for clients over the phone, email, and web portals. The ideal candidate loves talking to people and proactively providing solutions. You will route trips to drivers in the most efficient manner possible in a fast-paced environment. Work within a team and act as a shift supervisor to drivers in the field. A flexible schedule is required to meet business needs.

Supervisor Requirements:

• At least 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor degree in Business or Management preferred
• Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Attention to detail

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct a fleet of drivers in the field
• Communicate with clients, healthcare providers, and care coordinators via phone, email, and chat
• Schedule on-demand and pre-arranged patient transport via wheelchair and stretcher in specially equipped mobility vans
• Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about services, availability, and pricing
• Ability to prioritize tasks to enhance business productivity and better serve customer needs
• Work with dispatch teams, drivers, and attendants to meet customer’s needs
• Data entry in various platforms, proficient with web-base applications, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
