Are you a compassionate person who cares about helping others? Join a company that provides mobility and independence to those in need in our community. Suburban Transportation is looking for CDL drivers, with passenger endorsement, to provide non-emergency wheelchair and stretcher transportation.

We transport elderly and disabled clients to/from medical appointments, hospitals, dialysis clinics, nursing homes, adult day healthcare, and around town. We help those in need who would otherwise be unable to access essential services in the community.

Candidates must enjoy driving and providing high level customer service to clients, their caregivers, and medical providers. All drivers must meet physical requirements to push and pull the weight of patients in wheelchairs and stretchers.

Safety is our top priority – The safety of our drivers and passengers has always been our number one priority. Safely getting clients to and from destinations, operating wheelchair accessible vans, wheelchairs, stretchers, and occupant securement systems is our mission.

We are taking great precautions to ensure safety of drivers and passengers during the COVID pandemic. We supply proper personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, sanitizers, and disinfectant) to enhance the health and safety of the community.

Experienced non-emergency medical transport (NEMT) drivers, EMT, Fire, CNA’s,s all encouraged to apply. We have flexible part-time work to help supplement your income and full-time positions available if you are ready for a change!

Job Description

• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
• Multiple shifts in day-time. Early afternoon to late evening shift. Some weekends and holidays needed.
• Well-maintained fleet of vehicles. Professional work environment.
• Must be able to utilize a smartphone for communication, manage trips assignments, and navigate to destinations. We train in-house and have efficient processes to streamline your day.
• Driver’s must have or be able to obtain a NYS Commercial Drivers License with Passenger Endorsement.
• All drivers must be willing to undergo background check and drug test
